Will Amazon Have Better Deals on Prime Day Next Week?

Any mega-sale that aims to take the helium out of Prime Day begs the question: should you buy the discounted things you want now, in the Walmart Deals event, or wait for Prime Day? As a seasoned deals professional, I can give you a quick and easy short answer: buy the stuff now.

For many items, the Walmart Deals sale prices are the lowest they've ever been, and not likely to go lower on Prime Day. All of the Apple AirPods are at all-time low prices. The PS5 Spider-Man 2 bundle is $10 cheaper than it was during Sony's recent Days of Play sale. Walmart truly is pulling out all the stops to match or beat any sale prices Amazon is planning next week. Plus, you don't need a pricy membership to take advantage, as you will on Prime Day.

You have virtually nothing to lose. The worst case scenario is that you might see a better deal on something at Amazon next week during Prime Day. In that case, Walmart's return policy will come in handy. It lets you return most items within 90 days of purchase. You can also compare prices against Amazon's early Prime Day deals before you buy just to make sure.
